Name Correction

Carriers do not allow changing the name on the booking to another person after the booking confirmation. Please check that all the details entered are correct before finalizing your booking.

Name corrections within the first 24 hours of booking 

If you get your name misspelled, and your ticket is subject to the free 24-hour Airline cancelation policy, we will attempt to redo the booking to match your travel documents.

Please provide us with a copy of your passport or other relevant travel documents as proof for the carrier.

For any name adjustments requested within 24 hours of booking, only for the US market, Hop2 will charge a processing fee of $50.00 for the Basic plan and will not charge any fees for Standard and Plus plans. Customers might have to pay for the difference in the fare if the price increased for the corrected booking.

Requesting a name correction for bookings within the first 24 hours

  • Provide a copy of your passport
  • Receive a new quote directly to your inbox
  • Confirm the new itinerary and details
  • Receive a new ticket receipt and the invoice within an hour of confirming the itinerary

Name corrections after more than 24 hours since the booking 

If the 24-hour policy does not cover your booking, we will contact the carrier for more details regarding the possibility of adjusting the name and the procedures we should follow to correct the name on the booking.

This request should be submitted to Hop2 no later than 36 hours before the departure.

Please note that you must supply us with a copy of your passport or other relevant travel documents as they will serve as proof for the carrier.

Costs and applicable fees for bookings issued more than 24 hours ago 

Misspelled names, name corrections, or even refunds are subject to the airline policy and cannot be guaranteed.

If the carrier allows a name correction, our processing fee will apply in addition to any airline fees and possible differences in fares. Our regular processing fee for a reservation change is $150.00 per passenger.

If the Support Bundle was acquired, the processing fee is reduced to $50.00 with the Standard plan and is completely removed with the Plus plan.
